When I was 16, I noticed a problem in my community's education system. So, I built NaveganteAZ — a website that eventually grew into an organization expanding bilingual education access across Arizona and impacting 2,000+ families.
It wasn't easy, but little by little, things started to happen. I found myself presenting to the Arizona State Board of Education, working with investigative journalists, leading a team of 12 incredible students, and sharing our story on Telemundo, CBS, Univision, and other media outlets. More importantly, I saw that a group of students really could make a difference.
